Electronic Injury Data Reporting Now Becomes Official in Minnesota

Jul 10, 2018

It’s finally official. Minnesota OSHA has adopted the Federal OSHA standard that requires electronic reporting of 2017 injury data by July 1. Use the Federal OSHA website to start reporting electronically.

This federal regulation — published in the Federal Register on May 12, 2016 — was adopted by Minnesota OSHA, with the inclusion of all NAICS to Appendix A in subpart E, and became effective in Minnesota on May 21, 2018. All Minnesota employers with 20 or more employees are now required to submit their OSHA 300a Summary data to federal OSHA by July 1, 2018
